Two updates have been made to the Astrod2 library:
- Firstly, there is now the possibility to direct the output of the core Astrod2 functions to Pandas dataframes rather than CSV files, to enable sophisticated analysis pipelines.
- Secondly, as the library pyswisseph is now deprecated, the replacement library pysweph may be used instead.
These two developments modernise the library, and also bring it to a state of relative completion. Its primary capability is the ability to perform complex searches of astrological conditions for world transits, and report the periods in which these occur. This is based on a maintained ephemeris tool, and with direct interface to Pandas, making Astrod2 a specialist but capable tool.
